About the Organiser:
The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, was established by the State Legislature of Punjab by passing the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab Act, 2006 (Punjab Act No. 12 of 2006). The University has been accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC. The University is dedicated to provide holistic legal education and to promote quality research in law and allied disciplines. The University has also set up research centres to promote research and related activities. In consonance with the objectives of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) has been established.
The Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) promotes students ’ and researchers ’ interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution constituting dispute resolution methods like Arbitration, Negotiation, Mediation and Conciliation.
About the Webinar:
The webinar aims to provide the participants a look into the effect of COVID-19 on the Mediation World. It is a two-day event wherein Day one will focus on the effect of the pandemic on the International Mediation and on the Indian Mediation and Day two will focus on the way ahead and will try to address the issues that students come across while specialising in the field of Mediation.
