The Supreme Court of India have dismissed the review petition for conducting physical exam of the private, second compartment and patrachar students.

In the case of Abhigya Anand v. CBSE, a review petition was filed against the judgment of June 22, 2021
of the highest court that has allowed the CBSE to conduct the offline or physical examination for the
second compartment, private and patrachar students. This review petition was dismissed by the Supreme
Court of India. CBSE had canceled the exams for the regular students and propose the alternative
assessment method that was previously approved by court. It was contented by the private or
second compartment students that this has made a distinction between the regular students and
them which have resulted in unequal treatment. These three categories of the students have distinct
meanings of as the private students are one who have received the prescribed study under the
proper guidance while the patrachar students are the ones who are unable to join the senior
secondary school that is affiliated to board or for any reasons they have been compelled to appear
as a private candidate at exams. The second compartment students are the physically handicapped
that have difficulty in attending the normal institutions in subjects which do not involve practical
exams or training.
