Supreme Court sets up 'Social Justice Bench' to deal with social issues

The Supreme Court on Wednesday set up an extraordinary ‘Social Justice Bench’ to only hear cases concerning social issues especially those identified with ladies, youngsters and underprivileged saying that concentrated methodology is required for managing these matters.
Accentuating that legal needs to be proactive to guarantee early transfer of such cases and to bring soil grown foods of the rights gave under the Constitution to individuals, the pinnacle court set up the seat which will collect every Friday at 2pm from December 12.
“In Supreme Court a few cases identifying with the area of social equity are pending for a few years. The special bench will comprise justices Madan B Lokur and U U Lalit.
