NUJS Invites Application for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Adjunct Faculty; Apply by July 3

Number of Positions

Associate Professor

A good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines.
A master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in Law or M. Tech. (or an equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed.)
Minimum of 8 Years of teaching experience/ or research in an academic/ research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution/ industry with a minimum of seven publications as research papers in a journal ranked by Scopus/ web of Science/ UGC_CARE list/ Referred Journal and a total Research score of 75. University will also consider quality research papers.

Assistant Professor

Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed.) in LLM/ M. Tech/ M.Sc subject as the case may be from a recognized Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC or the CSIR, GATE, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET, or who has been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in relevant subjects in accordance with the UGC.
Specialization in Victimology/ International Law/ Criminology/ Constitutional Law/ Privacy Law/ Comparative Law/ Criminal Law/ Property Law/ Procedural Law/ Data Protection & Data Security Law/ Data Science/ Computer Science/ Business and Corporate Law/ Human Rights Law.

Adjunct Faculty

Specialization In Substantive/ Procedural Law/ emerging law subjects/ Criminology/ Forensic/ Technology/ Statistics/ Computer Science & other law interdisciplinary related subjects.

Photocopies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, etc. should be attached with the application (self-attested) and the originals must be produced at the time of the interview and at the time of joining if selected.

Associate Professor: Rs. 1, 34, 400/- UGC Level 13, A Gross emoluments per month (based on the present rate of DA and other allowances) Rs. 2,45,430/-(p.m.).
Assistant Professor: Rs. 57,700 UGC Level 10 Gross emoluments per month (based on the rate of DA and other allowances) Rs. 1,13, 507/- (p.m.)
Adjunct Faculty: Honorarium for Rs. 3,000 per hour class.
