NUJS is seeking applications from interested candidates for a Research Assistant post for a collaborative academic and research project between NUJS, JGLS and KCL on Transnational Remedies for Environmental Harm with Clinical Legal Education. The role may involve extensive travel to the Sundarbans, and other similar areas. The candidate should have good analytical, research as well as writing skills, and would need to be detail-oriented. They will be expected to start work immediately. The remuneration will be approximately Rs. 12,000 (subject to minor variations, due to fluctuations in the conversion rates of GBP to INR), and the RA contract will be for a period of 6 months.
Essential Qualifications:
- The candidate must have recently finished their LLB course either from an Indian or UK university.
- The candidate must be fluent in Bengali, English and Hindi.
