About Centre for Law, Justice and Development (CLJD): As a research centre under the aegis of a university that believes in imparting interdisciplinary legal education, Centre for Law Justice and Development engages with issues that meet at the confluence of legal and development discourses. It seeks to revisit, analyse and critique the existing socio-legal structures to enable alternative interpretations and implementation of law in development. Such an engagement is envisaged to be more inclusive to march towards securing justice for all.
Area of work: CLJD is currently engaged in various projects relating to gender. Therefore, CLJD is looking for an animator to specifically create videos and reels related to violence against women, gender stereotypes and gender related stigmas in the society. The purpose of these videos and reels would be to disseminate legal awareness, gender sensitisation and address the issues of structural violence against women.
Eligibility Requirement: Prospective applicants must possess the following qualifications:
- Possess a portfolio showing relevant work and experience on disseminating legal awareness on socio-legal issues; and
- Familiarity with animation software required to create 2D animation videos;
- Demonstrate good 2D animation skills.
The centre requires approximately ten 2-3 minutes long videos to be completed by end of June 2023.
