CIPRA IP Journal is flagship E- journal in the area of Intellectual property rights Journal published quarterly by Centre for Intellectual Property Research and Advocacy ( CIPRA) .
The E-journal strives and aims at providing a source of qualitative and well-researched jurisprudence to intellectual property lawyers, academicians and students, while simultaneously encouraging contributions from all these quarters.The purpose of introducing this E-journal is to create open access for every reader who is interested in the field of intellectual property rights.
The Centre was established with the objective of enhancing the intellectual property knowledge base and research capabilities of the country in general and the National law school of India university (NLSIU) in particular. CIPRA organizes various workshops, seminar, and conferences on intellectual property rights to create awareness and initiates research into relatively unexplored and novel areas.
Submission Heads
The CIPRA IP Journal welcomes Articles, Essay, Case comments in MS-Word Format under following categories:
Articles (5000-8000 words, inclusive of footnotes)
Contribution under this section is expected to be a comprehensive analysis of a particular issue. It should examine literature extensively, highlight every shade of opinion and result in an innovative reassessment of the same. Co-authorship to a maximum of two authors is permitted in this section only.
Essay (3000-5000 words, inclusive of footnotes)
Scholarship to this head should engage in developing new ideas and perspectives . The requirement of comprehensive analysis of literature can be dispensed with.
Case Comments and Legislative Briefs (1500-2500 words, inclusive of footnotes)
This is an analysis of any contemporary judicial pronouncement, whether in India or elsewhere. It must identify and examine the line of cases in which the decision in question came about and comment on implications for the evolution of that branch of law.
The last date to submit entries is April 18.
