form of life irrespective of its origin and extent. Extreme weather conditions, high sea level, melting of ice, change in the weather patterns are one of the significant impacts of climate change. Over the last several decades, catastrophe risks have increased, and increasingly extreme weather conditions are projected to increase the number and scale of disasters in the future. Simultaneously, current catastrophe risk reduction methodologies and technologies, particularly climate risk management, have tremendous capacity for significantly lowering risks and responding to climate change. Climate change has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. Small sessions and huge COPs are among these international gatherings (Conference of Parties decisions). One such special venue where like-minded nations, as well as individual governments, gathered together is the climate negotiation. Civil society organizations and even international news media have all made submissions. In the past ten years, India has had several climatic calamities. Academics and researchers agree that a global response to climate change is urgently required, especially in the context of COP 27.
