It is a matter of pride and delight that Institute of Law, Nirma University represented by Arpit Singhvi, Ronith Joy and Vaibhav Kumar have won the BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA TRUST, 30th All India Inter University Moot Court Competition, 2014 hosted by LLyod Law College, Greater Noida. The team was declared “CHAMPIONS” after dominating NALSAR, Hyderabad in the final round. The team excelled with brilliance and sheer dominance in the whole competition with a clean sweep of all awards in their name. This is the first time that a law school from the State of Gujarat has won the prestigious moot court competition.
The team showcased their finest performance with absolute dedication and hard work owing to the fact that the said moot court competition has four problems to deduce and the time of preparation is only one month. The team showcased unconditional passion towards the moot court which is one of the biggest moot court competition and it is a dream come true for the Institute.
The team bagged all the awards that were showcased at the competition. Mr. Arpit Singhvi, bagged the Best Speaker Award in the final round as well as the Best Speaker Award for the Overall Competition. Mr. Ronith Joy, who complimented with equal grace, won the Best Speaker Award for the Preliminary Rounds completing the clean sweep at the competition. Both the participants were acknowledged with a scholarship of Rs. 12, 000 each narrating their success stories. The Team was well supported by the hard work of Mr. Vaibhav Kumar who held the important role of the researcher to the team.
