Lovely Professional University is a private university situated in Phagwara, Punjab, India. The university was established in 2005 by Lovely International Trust, under The Lovely Professional University Act, 2005 and started operation in 2006.

Activity: Open Moot Court
Event Details: Open Moot Court is aimed on testing Argumentation Skills on an open given theme of Gender Laws in India.
Date of Event: 27th October 2020 to 29th October 2020
Rules :
1} The format of Open Moot Court is specific to only Argumentation Skills
2} The 1st Round Consist of Contemporary Issue on Which Participant have to select a side i.e. Petitioner or Respondent on which you will Present yourself to Jury. { Top 50% Speakers of Each side will move further to 2nd Round }
3} The 2nd Round will Consist change in side prior to selected, i.e. the participant who Represented Petitioner in Round one will Represent Respondent { Top 25% Speakers of Each side will Move further to Final Round }
4} Under the given theme the Issue will be disclosed to participants on 25th Oct 2020 via email.
5} The Argumentation Rules will also be conveyed to participants via email. on 25th Oct 2020.
6} The Argumentation Round will be conducted via virtual meeting platform on which you will be hosted by Team Democrats and you will Present your Side to our Jury.
7}The details of virtual meeting link along with your presentation time slot will be communicated on Email on 25th Oct 2020.
8}In case of any Contingent Situation Coordinators decision will be Final.

1st Round – 10 Mins. for Speakers
2nd Round – 15 Mins. for Speakers
Final Round – 20 Mins. for Speakers
Winners Announcement – 31st/October/2020
