Court passed the demolition order of parking lot within one kilometer of Taj Mahal

Environmentalist, M.C. Mehta approached Supreme Court seeking the demolition of under construction parking lot being constructed within a kilometer of the Taj Mahal in Agra.
PIL pertains protection of the Taj from the ill effects of polluting gases and deforestation in and around the area. Demolition order was passed by Court after, opposition counsel failed to make her presence before the Court.
Aishwarya Bhati, standing counsel for the UP government, mentioned the matter before the bench seeking recall of the order, but the court asked her to move an appropriate restoration application in this regard.
