About Centre for Law, Justice and Development (CLJD): Established in 2018, CLJD envisions revisiting, analysing and engaging with the development discourse and its interface with the legal discourse. Through this engagement it seeks to contribute to and endeavour to mould the discourse as well as operationalisation of varied notions within the same in ways geared towards securing just domestic and international order.
Area of work: CLJD is currently engaged in projects relating to human rights, gender justice, education and tribal rights. Pursuant to these research activities, CLJD is looking for a research fellow to perform the following tasks:
- provide research support for ongoing projects;
- research and compile information on specific areas and topics, when needed;
- assist in documentation and preparation of project reports and Centre publications;
- provide logistical and administrative support for Centre activities and initiatives; and
- assist with other related tasks as needed
Eligibility Requirement: Prospective applicants must possess the following qualifications:
- possess a five-year/ three-year LL.B degree or a post graduate degree in law;
- possess at least One year work experience in socio-legal research;
- demonstrate good research and writing skills;
- demonstrate good oral and written communication skills; and
- good knowledge of MS office and online platforms

Process: Shortlisted candidates shall be informed via e-mail for an interview. Duration: 6 months; extendable with mutual consent on the basis of performance.
Remuneration: The Research Fellow shall be paid a consolidated amount of Rs. 50,000 (rupees Fifty Thousand Only) per month
