Centre for Forensic Justice and Digital Forensic Lab to be set up at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab in collaboration with National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar

Recognizing the need to emphasize Forensic Science applications in the field of law and to improve capacity building of cyber functionaries in dealing with cyber forensic aspects, National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, an institution of national importance, set up by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab have joined hands. Prof. J.M. Vyas, Vice-Chancellor, National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar and Prof. (Dr.) G. S. Bajpai, Vice-Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Centre for Advanced Studies in Forensic Justice during the occasion of two-day colloquium on “Criminology and Criminal Justice Reforms” held at National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar.

Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Dean, School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies, will be the key person from NFSU side to facilitate this joint arrangement.
