Call for Blogs for Indian Journal of Law and Development; Submissions on Rolling Basis

About the Journal:

The Indian Journal of Law and Development [IJLD] is an open-access student-edited blind peer reviewed interdisciplinary journal. The Journal is expected to be a platform for the academicians and students from the legal fraternity to present their ideas. IJLD seeks to provide an interactive platform for publication of Short Articles, Long Articles, Book Review, Case Comment, Legislative Comment and Research Papers in the field of Law and Development. The aim of this journal is to spread legal awareness and to bring out and propagate the opinion of the legal fraternity so that the developments in the legal field help in imparting justice at every level and to every section of the society.

About the Blog:

The Indian Journal of Law and Development [IJLD] blog seeks to provide an interactive platform for the publication of blogs in the field of Law and Development.

Authorship:

Co-authorship up to two authors is allowed. Refrain from mentioning the name, institutional affiliation, or any other detail of the author(s) in the document to facilitate the double-blind review process.

Theme:

Topics are related to law.

Originality:

All works must be original and unpublished. Any form of plagiarism will lead to disqualification for publication on the Blog.

Length:

The word limit for the manuscript is 1000 to 1500 words. This word limit is exclusive of the footnotes (if any). Longer posts may be accepted and published in parts subject to the discretion of the editors. The same can be discussed with the Board of Editors, by sending an e-mail.

Font and Spacing:

The title of the post should be formatted to Times New Roman font size 14, All Caps and in bold. The main body of the text should be formatted to Times New Roman font size 12 with 1.5 line spacing with a single line space between paragraphs.

Referencing:

All references shall strictly be in consonance with Harvard Bluebook (20th Edition). The non-compliance to the proper end noting method shall be subject to rejection.

Submissions Guidelines:

Submissions must be in a Word format (‘.doc’ or ‘.docx’). Ensure that the title of the document has been renamed to the title of the post. To submit a post for consideration, please send it to editorialboard.ijld[at]gmail.com.

All the submissions must be accompanied by a cover letter including the names of author, email-id and contact number.
