About the Organizer
The Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow is a pioneer legal institution in India. It was established in 1921 with three teachers. Mr. Jag Mohan Nath Chak was its first Dean. Prof. R. U. Singh architected with great zeal and enthusiasm organized teaching and research in the faculty in a systematic way. He held the office of the dean, faculty of Law till 1956. He also structured the Law Faculty of Delhi University and Law School, B.H.U. The distinction goes to him that he drafted the Constitution of Nepal.

General Rules
- The essay has to be written in English.
- The participant has to write an essay on any of the one topics given above or any contemporary issue of their choice.
- The file should be mailed in both word and pdf format.
- Participants shall mail the softcopy of the essay to our official Mail id which is: Mcc.lucknowuniv[at]gmail.com
- Authors must mention their full name in the email.
- The essay shall be 1000-1500 words max.
- Participants shall mail their essay latest by 15th January 2020.
- Each submission must have its title based on the topic selected.
- The body of the submission must be in the format as specified.[Font: times new roman, size: 12, line spacing 1.5 justified]

The entry fee is Rs. 80/-

Result
Result to be announced on 17th January 2020.
Awards
- The competition further provides the participants with an opportunity to win a cash prize up to Rs. 1500.
- Winner: Rs 1000 + Certificate of Appreciation
- Runner Up: Rs 500+ Certificate of Appreciation
- A participation certificate will be awarded to every participant.
