Indian Journal of Environmental Law: Submit before 31st Jan, 2015

The Indian Journal of Environmental Law (IJEL) is now accepting submissions for its upcoming issue – Volume 7.
A flagship journal of the Centre for Environmental Law Education, Research and Advocacy (CEERA), National Law School of India University, the IJEL is an annual, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to providing a forum for incisive legal scholarship onimportant current issues in environmental law. The IJEL aims to be a platform for students, academics and practitioners to comment upon contemporary developments in the field of environmental law, with a special focus on Indian jurisprudence and policy. Past issues of the IJEL have featured contributions by Janet Altman, Leslie Burton and Dr P Ishwara Bhat. Student submissions are particularly encouraged, so as to enable consultative dialogue amongst the stake holders.
Contributions are welcome under the following categories:
1. Articles (5000-8000 words)
2. Short Notes (3000-5000 words)
3. Case Comments/Legislative Reviews (1500-2500 words)
4. Book Reviews (800-1000 words)
GUIDELINES:
1. All submissions must be original, undistributed and unpublished work of the authors.
2. Articles found plagiarised will be summarily rejected.
3. Articles and Short Notes must be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 300 words. No abstract is required for Book Reviews or Case Comments/Legislative Reviews. Authors are encouraged to send in their abstract prior to the submission of the articles.
4. Submissions should adhere to the following format:
a. Body:
Font: Times New Roman
Font size -12
Line Spacing: 1.5
Alignment: Justified.
b. Footnotes
Font: Times New Roman
Font size -10
Line Spacing: 1
Alignment: Justified
5. Co-authorship, with a maximum of two authors is allowed.
6. All citations must be strictly in accordance with The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (19th edn.). Authors should be prepared to supply any cited sources upon request.
