The event will be conducted in Hybrid Mode This talk is an attempt to provoke a debate about exploring the responsibility narrative of International Intellectual Propertv (IP). It aims to offer a lens for reading IP norms within the system and outside of IP when it interacts with other branches of law. The talk, therefore, is a call to develop a fair and responsible IP system.
About the Speaker
Dr. Pratyush Nath Upreti is Senior lecturer in law and Programme Director of LLM in Intellectual Property Law at the School of Law, Queen’s University Belfast. He is an expert International Intellectual Property (IP) and is interested in interfaces of IP with different legal regimes In International Law including Asian Legal Studies (particularly South Asia) Global South more generally.
He is currently serving as member or me expert committee on the research project of the World Health Organization (WHO) South-East Asia.
