Position: Legal Manager
Experience: 3-7 Yrs
Location: Marwah House, Andheri (East) Mumbai (near Saki Naka Metro Station)
Objectives of this role:
The purpose of this job is to be the point person in the company for all legal matters. This would include execution of agreements, maintenance of necessary compliances in factory and head office and any other specific tasks related to legal
Job Responsibilities
a) Basic Compliance of RoC and timely filing of forms.
b) Handling Trademark and Copyright Matters
c) Liaisoning with Government & preparation of FDA Documents & liasoning with FDA, & FSSAI Authorities
d) Product Compliances – Labels & Legal Metrology. Application of Trademarks, liasoning with law firms for trademark related work
e) Execution of distribution contracts
f) Assistance in effective management of disputes/ complaints pertaining to ASCI & Consumer Disputes
g) Execution of agreements with third party service providers
h) Compliance checks on factory and head office
i) Liasing and completing any new registrations/approvals for the company
j) Working on legal requirements for product registrations in foreign markets
k) Any other legal tasks that may come up for the company
l) Coordination with senior legal representatives from parent company/third party legal teams
m) Negotiations, Drafting, Vetting, finalizing of Agreements & Legal Notices
n) Assisting in compliances under Companies Act, 2013, Labour Laws, other statutory regulations
o) Coordination and preparation of documents pertaining to Banking
Key Requirements:
Education Qualifications:
LLB / LLM
Experience & Skills:
Minimum of 4-8 years work experience
Ability to communicate strongly Hindi and English
Deep knowledge of applicable law
Individual must be able to work under pressure and delviver as he/she may need to work on multiple agreements/tasks at one time
High levels of organization (being organized) is requied for this role
Previous FMCG, healthcare or consumer packaged foods is preferred
