Access to Justice is cherished goal of each citizen. This is possible only when one is aware of the law and legal system .Legal awareness is a self-awareness program towards ones rights, duties and building up confidence to fight against odds in life. It’s a legal literacy that enables one to find appropriate remedies, otherwise, people are cheated and life becomes hell. It is a way to empower the people having meagre resources. The Program seeks to empower the disadvantaged section of the society, so that they can live a life of dignity. Technology is being used for remote access towards legal literacy. It aims to build up capacity at grass root level among women, children, labours, marginalised groups, rural folk, family etc. Keeping these in mind, the ministry of Law and Justice, New Delhi has started legal literacy mission through Law University to organise awareness programs. Hence this workshop is being organised in collaboration with NLSIU Bangalore
Who can participate: This workshop is open for all, i.e. teachers, NGOs, NSS, NCC, students, Media and other interested groups can attend, rural/urban inhabitants.
