The main aim of the upcoming book is to critically discuss the impact of the NEP 2020 on our education system not only national level but also implication on state education system along with Right of education, impact on minority educational institution and the financial implication/ burden-sharing between Center and State.
ABOUT THE EDITOR:-
Dr Shashi Punam, Associate Professor & Head, The Department of Social Work, Central University of Himachal Pradesh. She has completed her PhD in Sociology in 2012, From National Institute Technology, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India. Dr Shashi completed her Post-doctorate fellowship (PDF) from JNU, New Delhi; 2019. She is Gold Medallist in Master of Philosophy in Sociology from HPU Shimla. She has presented scores of papers in various National and International Conferences and Seminars. She has published one book Feministic Trauma in Indian Society, and also four edited books to her credit on topics such as, Cyber Delinquencies an Indian Perspective, Understanding University Social-Responsibility: Perspective of Community Development, Transformation of Women in Western Himalayas: Issue and Challenges, The Entrepreneaurial World etc. and numerous research papers. Dr Shashi does research on Social problems, Women empowerment, Gender & Health issues etc. She has completed her five projects under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, IIT Delhi, one project namely ‘Declining child Sex Ratio of Una District of Himachal Pradesh and another one project entitled Formulation of Herbal Products (Candy, Beautification products, Immunity boosters Bio-fertilizers and Washables), under CM’s start-up scheme project, Startup ID: HPSTARTUP/2020/08/20. She is life member of Indian Sociological Society, Indian Association of Social Science and Health, Northern-Western Indian Association, Sociological Association of Himachal Pradesh, Environment and Social Development Association, Delhi.
