About RGNUL-Punjab

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, was established by the State Legislature of Punjab by passing the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab Act, (Punjab Act No. 12 of 2006). The Act incorporated a University of Law of national stature in Punjab, thereby fulfilling the need for a Centre of Excellence in legal education in the modern era of globalization and liberalization.

Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) has been established to promote students’ interest in Resolution Arbitration, Mediation and Conciliation. The Centre strives to organize stimulating discourse which is relevant to, not only the Academia, but also the professional world and thus add to the literture of ADR. In pursuance of its objectives, CADR has initiated various novel Competitions, Workshops, Lecture Series, etc in collaboration with valued partners in professional and academic world.

Eligibility

Any student enrolled in an Undergraduate or postgraduate Law degree programme in any of the Universities recognized by the Bar Council of India, as on 1st April 2021 is eligible to participate.

Each University may be represented by a maximum of two students.

Registration Procedure:

Each participating team will consist of two eligible students from the same university i.e. one team from each university, acting as Client and Counsel.

The composition of the team will not be permitted to change once the same has been communicated to the Competition Administrator. The teams must complete the registration by submitting the following form latest by 15 Sept 2021 (Registration Link).

Upon intimation by the Organizing Committee, teams must complete the payment of Registration Fee of Rs. 2000. The details of payment of the Registration Fee will be notified to the team separately.
