About the Organization

Uttarakhand Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UkMRCL), a venture of the Government of Uttarakhand is a Special Purpose Vehicle entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of Uttarakhand Metro Rail Project.

The basic objective of the formation of the company is :

• To plan, design, develop, construct, maintain and/or operate metro rail or other similar mass rapid transport system of all types and descriptions including mass movers either individually or in association with other
• Undertakings and Companies or persons in India and/or abroad.
• To plan, construct, develop, administer, manage, control, and/or maintain all types of buildings either individually or in association with other Undertakings and Companies or persons in India and/or abroad.
• To plan, design, develop, construct, maintain and/or operate townships of all types and descriptions, either individually or in association with other Undertakings and Companies or persons in India and/or abroad.

Who is it For?

• For working employee joining on deputation: Existing Pay plus Deputation Allowance & other applicable allowances.
• For working employee joining on Direct Recruitment/Contract: Rs.. 33000-100000 IDA (NE-4) (3rd Prc) plus other applicable allowances.
• For Retired officers joining on Reemployment basis: Rs. 37,600/- p.m. consolidated

Eligibility

• The candidate must be a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
• Age Criteria: Age (as of 01-01-2021) For Working Officers: Maximum 58 years.
• Note: A retired officer will mean: An officer retired on superannuation, with age not more than 62 yrs. as on 01-01-2021; OR
• A working officer, with age more than 58 yrs. as of 01-01-2021, and intending to join after taking Retirement/after Retirement/Superannuation 12
• Candidates with higher qualifications in respective disciplines can also apply.
• Hands-on knowledge of various computer applications, relating to the job is desirable. Candidates should be free from D&AR and Vigilance inquiry.

Application Procedure

• Prospective candidates should send their application in the format at Annexure-I furnishing a comprehensive Bio-data including name, date of birth, address for communication, details of qualifications and experience covering organization, a position held, areas of responsibility and emoluments are drawn, etc. along with two copies of passport size photographs.
• The applications should accompany, inter-alia, a write up on the significant contributions made by the candidates during their present/past assignments and their suitability for the post as per the eligibility requirements.
• Additional information in support of their candidature may be provided by the candidates on plain sheets of paper.
• A person employed with Railways or any Metro rail Corporations or any PSU’s/Govt. Dept. shall apply through proper channel and shall produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ along with application form. If the ‘No Objection certificate’ is not attached, the applicant shall give the reasons for the same. Management will examine and may relax the condition in exceptional circumstances only. The candidate shall submit the ‘No Objection Certificate’ at least one day before the interview. Retired officers can submit their applications directly.
• Minimum experience/qualification does not ensure that candidate will be called for an interview. Management may
  increase the criteria.
• Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date/time will be summarily rejected. UkMRC is not responsible for Loss/delay in post.
• The applications must be sent through speed post/courier/by hand.
