The Department of Women and Child Development, Puducherry has been established on 16th August 1996 after bifurcation from the Social Welfare Department, Puducherry as per the instructions of the Government of India with a view to focus more attention exclusively for the upliftment of Women and Children.
Job Description
The Department of Women and Child Development, Puducherry invites application for the following posts for One Stop Centre (OSC) scheme:
- Case Worker
- Para Legal Staff
Eligibility
Case Worker: Any women having a Law degree/Masters in Social Work with at least 3 years experience of working on violence against women issues in a Government and Non-Government project/programme.
Para Legal Staff: Any person having a background in Law with paralegal training or knowledge of laws with at least 3 years experience of working within a Government or Non-Government project/programme on Violence Against Women at the district.

The application should be super-scribed with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF (Name of the post) for One Stop Centre Scheme (OSC), in Puducherry District.
