About NLIU
The National Law Institute University is a premier university in the field of legal education, established in 1997. The
vision of NLIU is to become one of the best centres of legal education, training and research in the world. In furtherance of this, the University organizes two moot court competitions & one client counselling competition annually.
About the Competition
The competition focuses on giving law aspirants the opportunity to hone the skill of interacting with clients, preparing them for the practical aspects of the profession. A collaboration between the Moot Court Association (MCA) of NLIU with Link Legal, saw alumni of the organizing University and principal associates of Link Legal join in as judges for the initial rounds.
Platform
The competition will be held virtually. The platform for the same shall be notified later.
Important Dates
Last Date of Provisional Registration: 5th September 2020
Last Date of Registration: 20th September 2020
Release of Pools: 3rd October 2020.
Rounds: 16th October – 18th October 2020
Registration
The colleges have to register themselves with us, provisionally first by sending in an email to our official id which is [email protected].
Please note that only 24 teams will be selected on ‘first come, first serve’ basis. A maximum of two applications from each institution will be accepted.
