4th Dr. B. S. Goel Memorial National Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2023

Purpose and Objectives

After three successful National Moot Court competitions, IPEM Law Academy conducts its 4th National Moot Court Competition in collaboration with Consumer Rights Organisation and People for better treatment. AIR Online and Manupatra are collaborating with us as knowledge partners and Knowledge steez and legal bites as Media Partners. The main objective of this National Virtual Moot Court competition is to give opportunities to the students from Pan India to participate in the virtual platform.

Description

A Moot proposition is given to students. The students need to prepare for both sides of the litigation, i.e., for the petitioner and the respondent and memorials of both sides should be submitted. In each team, there should be three students, 2 speakers and 1 researcher. The competition will be of 4 rounds. Preliminary, Quarter Final, Semifinal and finals. Best Team, Runner-up, Best Speaker, and Best Memorial will be awarded Cash prizes and e-certificates. All the participants will be awarded e-certificate

Cash Prize

• The Winning Team -15000/-INR
• The Runner-ups Team -10000/-INR
• The Best Speaker -2500/-INR.
• The Best Written Submission (Memorial) – 5000/-INR.
• The Best Researcher – 2500/-INR.

Registration/submission procedure

The Registration fee shall be Rs. 2500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred only) for each participating team of 3 members (Two Speakers & one Researcher). No additional members shall be permitted. Each team shall complete the registration within the stipulated time. The fee once paid is non-refundable.
