IP Markets announces its first Moot Court CompetitionĀ focusing on Intellectual Property Law. in association with University College of Law, Osmania University, Hyderabad. M/s IP Markets is a techno legal IPR law firm of international repute having its base in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad in India.
We firmly believe in encouraging and disseminating awareness among all verticals of legal fraternity especially the young legal minds across the country, thus providing a hands-on experience for budding lawyers. This Competition gives a great insight into practice of IP which is yet to pick up throughout the country. The first tread towards the manifestation of the belief is to disseminate IP awareness amongst the young legal fraternity and serves as a spring board for better IPĀ practice.
The competition would be judged by the eminent legal jurists on the basis of the teamās ability to understand, analyse, interpret and succinctly present their case. The moot problem is innovative, and provides enough scope to traverse the new dimensions of the patent law. It does not restrict its ambit to High Court but also touches on quasi-judicial authorities such as IPAB and Controller of Patents.
Law students whoĀ participate in the competition have opportunity to develop their brief writing and oralĀ advocacy skills in a moot courtroom experience.
