Few Days before, Vice President of Congress Mr. Rahul Gandhi made a remark on controversial issue of surgical strike as “Jinhone Hindustan ke liye surgical strike kiye hain, unke khoon ke peeche aap chhupe hain. Unki aap dalali kar rahe ho. Yeh bilkul galat hai. You are hiding behind the blood of soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir and those who carried out the surgical strikes for India. You are exploiting their sacrifices, which is very wrong.”
Upon this remark the complaint has registered against him by a lawyer named Sadanand Singh moved the application under IPC Section 500 (Punishment for defamation) in the court of CJM which fixed the hearing for October 25.
Complainant alleged that leaders like him ( Rahul Gandhi) are indulging in cheap politics by making these controversial remarks and such remark hurt the feelings of other Indians and him. It also affects the fame of PMO Mr. Modi.
