The seventh National Seminar of Balvant Parekh Centre for General Semantics and Other Human Sciences will be held in collaboration with The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad during 2-4 November 2015 on the theme “The Enigma of Law.” The seminar is part of an ongoing series of seminars on “enigma” planned by the Centre. The series began in 2011 with “The Enigma of Health” followed by “The Enigma of Happiness,” “The Enigma of Pain,” “The Enigma of Beauty” and “The Enigma of Democracy.” This year’s seminar has Jacques Derrida’s text “Force of Law: Part I” as the motivation.
