Asaram's bail plea rejected by Supreme Court

Interim bail and regular bail filed by Spritual guru asaram Bapu on medical grounds in a sexual assault case registered in Rajasthan against him.
The bench headed by Chief Justice S Khehar rejected an interim bail of Asaram.
Justice N.V. Ramona dismissed the regular bail plea said “The instant plea is devoid of merit and hence dismissed.” The bench rejected the plea for regular bail, after taking note of attacks on crucial witnesses and the attempts of the accused to delay the trial by examining prosecution witnesses on several dates.
