Accused's of Hyderabad blasts has been Sentenced To Death

  1. Mohammed Ahmed Siddibappa alias Yasin Bhatkal and four others have been convicted for being involved in the 2013 Hyderabad twin blasts in which 18 lives has been destroyed. On 13 December, Special Court of National Investigation Agency convicted Bhatkal and others under various sections of Indian Penal Code, Arms Act, Unlawful Activities prevention Act.

Today, they all have been awarded death penalty by a special National Investigation Agency court.Ā In this incident 18 people were killed and 131 injured others. TheĀ special court, after hearing the defence and prosecutionā€™s arguments, pronounced the quantum of sentence.
Since IM founder Riyaz Bhatkal, the prime accused in the case, is absconding, the trial was split up against him. However, his brother Yasin Bhatkal was arrested in Bihar, close to the border with Nepal. Co-founder Riyaz Bhatkal remains on India’s most-wanted list and is believed to be in Pakistan.
