Indian Cricketer filed a Contempt petition against Mobile Firm

M S Dhoni has filed a Petition in Delhi High Court over a mobile firm named MAX that the brand is still using his name as its brand ambassador despite the fact that the agreement between them has been terminated way back in December 2012.
Petition has been filed in order to initiate the proceedings against the company’s CMD Ajay Agarwal for disobeying court’s 17 November 2014 direction asking the company to “refrain from selling any products” which uses the name of Dhoni in commercials. On April 21, 2015, the court had also passed a similar order.
Petitioner sought to put on hold all the products/mobile handsets and other such articles where his name and image had been used either for promotional purpose or to sell them.
