Centre is all set to withdraw the notification allowing Jallikattu

Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi said to the Supreme Court that the notification passed by Central government and has been challenged, would be withdraw by Centre as the bill pertaining to Jallikattu has been passed by Tamil Nadu state.
Yesterday, the bill for allowing Jallikattu had been adopted unanimously by a voice vote in the assembly after a brief debate. The Bill would now be sent for approval to the President.
Interestingly, nearby 70 caveats have been filed in the Supreme Court seeking prior hearing if pleas challenging the new legislation allowing Jallikattu in the state come up for consideration.
