Arvind Kejriwal and Kumar Vishwas approach SC against dismissal of their pleas by Allahabad HC

Assistant Election Officer lodged a complaint against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and AAP leader Kumar Vishwas for allegedly making provocative speech in Gauriganj area of Amethi during 2014 Lok Sabha election.
On 6 October, 2016 lower court issued summon to Arvind Kejriwal and Kumar Vishwas. However, these issuing of summons has been challenged by the petitioners named above. Bench headed by Justice Aditya Nath Mittal of the Lucknow bench dismissed  their pleas.
Now, they ( Arvind Kejriwal and Kumar Vishwas ) approach SC against the Allahabad HC order. A bench headed by Justice J S Kehar sought response from UP government and also granted exemption to Kejriwal and Vishwas from personal appearance.
