Suspended Judge's husband filed a bail plea before Special Court, CBI.

CBI on 28 September arrested Senior Civil Judge, Rachna Tiwari Lakhanpal, her husband Alok Lakhanpal and Adv. Vishal Mehan who was appointed as local commissioner in a case before the Rachna Lakhpal on the charges of bribe.
CBI stated that “The judge and her husband were arrested while allegedly receiving a bribe of Rs four lakh from Vishal, who was appointed as local commissioner in a case adjudicated by her, at her residence and during searches at the judge’s residence, Rs 94 lakh case was seized by it along with two locker keys and other material.”
However, Rachna Lakhpal got bail on the purview that “there was nobody to look after her two minor kids as her husband was also under incarceration.”
Now, both other alleged accused’s filed a bail plea before Special CBI Judge Sanjeev Aggarwal which would come up for hearing tomorrow.
