A 42-year-old man named, Brijesh Shukla allegedly threw ink on Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia when he was outside the Lieutenant Governor’s office.
He was arrested on September 19 and was in Judicial Custody. He was resident of Karawal Nagar in Northeast Delhi.
Accused stated that that Disappointed with Dep. CM Manish Sisodia as he was in Finland when the people of delhi was suffering from Chikengunya and Dengue.
He was booked under sections 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions), 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of the IPC.
Bail has been granted to the accused by Metropolitan Magistrate Ambika Singh enlarged on furnishing of a personal bond of Rs 15,000 and a surety of like amount.
