Bail has been granted to AAP MLA for the allegations of Sexual Harassment

Metropolitan Magistrate Vijeta Singh Rawat granted bail to AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, who was arrested for the offense of sexual harassment filed by his sister-in-law against him.
Bail was grant to the politician against personal bond of Rs 35,000 and a surety of the like amount.
Conditions put on his bail are the following:
1. He shall not in any manner whatsoever interfere in the ongoing probe.
2. Whenever he is required in the police station, he will join and not come along with his supporters.
In the breach of anyone of the above-stated conditions then “investigating officer (IO) will be at liberty to approach the court for cancellation of Khan’s bail” court said.
Court stated that “There is no Prima Facie evidence for any demand of dowry or regarding mental/ physical cruelty committed by him on the complainant. Therefore, offense under section 498A of IPC as such is not made out against the accused”.
“The primary allegations against him are of section 354 IPC which are of year 2011-2012. However, there are allegations of section 509 IPC which may be recent in nature,” the court said.
Bail was granted to Politician after the investigation officer said that the politician was not required for custodial interrogation and the probe regarding him was complete.
He was arrested yesterday and sent to a day in judicial custody and arrested by Delhi Police for the second time in three months on separate complaints of women.
