Suggestions invited on Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016

Under the chairmanship of Dr. Satyapal Singh, a committee has been formed to examine and submit a report on Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.
Suggestions and views are been invited by the joint parliamentary committee of Both the houses of parliament. Individual, organisation, associations or any other body can submit their views.
A press release states that the memoranda submitted would stay in the records assuring confidentiality. The privilege to be a part of the committee would also be given. Those who wish to appear before the committee along with their memoranda containing suggestions, must specify it before. The decisions regarding this would be made by the committee and remain final.
Views and suggestions may be sent in two copies in either Hindi or English in written form. The memoranda must be subject to: Additional Director, Lok Sabha Secretariat, Room No. 317 (OC), Third Floor, Parliament House Annexe, New Delhi-110001 or Fax at 011-23016238 or email at [email protected] by September, 30, 2016.
