Transgenders got space in birth and death certificate.

The landmark Supreme Court Judgement in April 2014 recognized transgender as the third gender and in furtherance of this decision the government of Delhi has decided to introduce a separate category known as ‘transgender’ category in the birth and death certificates.
As recognized as the first move to introduce third gender officially on paper, a notification was issued last month asking all registrar offices to make changes in the form.
