About Student Bar Forum
The Student Bar Forum at Amity Law School, Amity University Noida, is a dynamic student body immersed in legal experiences, including Moot Courts, Mediation-Arbitration, and legal quizzes since 2014. As a committed committee, we oversee the organization of mooting activities and Trial Advocacy Tournaments, upholding the esteemed standards set by Amity Law School Noida. Our responsibilities encompass planning, organizing, and executing moot court and trial advocacy competitions, including a meticulous screening process for participating teams led by our faculty.
With a workforce of over 150 dedicated students, the Student Bar Forum passionately fosters the development of future mooters and trial advocates, ensuring maximum participation and commendable performance in prestigious competitions during the last academic session.
About The Opportunity
Trial advocacy is a specialized domain dedicated to enhancing the proficiency and efficacy of attorneys and individuals engaged in the trial process. This field focuses on refining the practical skills necessary for effective courtroom practice. Simulated trials, especially in higher education, act as a valuable resource for students to grasp and internalize the complexities of the law through hands-on practice. The trial provides practical application by bridging the gap between theory and practice. Apply legal knowledge in controlled authentic settings. Effective communication by honing persuasive arguments and developing vital skills necessary for litigation. Provides a platform for a realistic experience by simulating actual court processes and complexities.

Eligibility
Students pursuing a 3-year LL.B. Degree Course or 5-year Integrated LL.B. Degree Course and LL.M. Degree Course from the colleges recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate in the competition.
Theme
This competition was set up to promote and increase the real-life courtroom skills that are required by an advocate in real-life courtroom scenarios. The intricacies of a court, from filing of the documents to arguments, from cross-examining the witnesses and satisfying the judges, Trial Advocacy provides it all. The competition tests the knowledge of the law students and assesses the hold participants have on the law and facts. Trial Advocacy tournament is a platform for law students to showcase their advocacy skills, understand the fundamentals of courtrooms, and learn from the best of the best law students around the country.
Prizes
- Prizes worth Rs. 1.10 lakh
- Participation certificates will be awarded to all the participants and merit certificates and trophies will be awarded to their respective winners.
